Hey I know, let's turn this into another Acura bashing thread.
Let's leave it alone here and admire what the Koreans have pulled of out what seems like no where.

You are right about Hyundai. I am old enough to remember when owning one was a badge of being in the bottom 25%, and the cars were absolute crapholes. Now we are drooling over Korean cars a bit more than 20 years later. This is totally incredible to me.
R-Spec FTW!

Spent all day at the dealer with JNC....I ran into the loan preparer, who turns out also works at the local strip joint.
I dont think she remembered me.
Anyways, got a chance to drive this beast to-and-from the dealer today and it has an endless torque band. A few exhaust mods and a little port work/tune and she'll put down 430 WHEEL.
Cant wait. JNC and I are getting baseline dyno's this week.

Okay guys... got her cleaned up from the snow today. More pictures coming tomorrow... but this is on a short notice in the garage.
LED's used throughout... nice touch on the puddle lamps.
[Note The navi system will play DVD's and movies off USB / AUX. I'll be testing this tomorrow.
Nicely finished sills
Venting to the rear via B-pillar. Another find / upgrade from the TL.
(Not pictured - the rear also has separate HVAC controls)
I love the cat eye effect. The AFS headlights perform admirably. Sharp wide cutoff - Note these have ECE cut offs.

It's a pleasant looking car, I'm sure every goodie in the world is in the car.
Lack of an AWD would be a dealbreaker for me. I'm not going back to my snow tires days.
Good luck with the car.

^agreed. 5 years ago I wouldn't be caught dead in a Kia. I hated the brand. Had I had a bigger budget when purchasing my used 3g TL, I probably would have bought a Kia Optima 2.0T. I can't believe I just said i bought a used TL because I couldn't afford a Kia, lol.
Kudos to the Koreans

Thank you
As do I... Go to a dealer and take one for a spin. You'll be shocked
I've always ran snow tires regardless of drivetrain configuration; FF, AWD, 4WD, or RWD. -- This just gives me an excuse to run studded snows and have more fun then 95% of all the other drivers out there. Given the roads I drive on, I would never run all seasons in the winter considering what happens to rubber when temperatures dip below 45*. Thank you though - it is loaded quite well, and should last quite a while.
Couldn't agree more

Very elegant solid car, congratulation, excellent choice.
I took a R-Spec for a spin some time ago.....amazing car for the money...truly incredible....
The salesman told me that a similarly appointed 550i would require 70K or more!!!
Incredible that you can spend more than what this car cost fully optioned (well everything is standard, the only option are the sport tires and wheels I believe) for an A4 with its not even state of the art turbocharged 4 banger.....your head spin.....
While I think that this car would still not be considered by your typical 550 or E550, some 528-535 or E350, A6 shoppers are looking at it.
They had two E60 5 Series in their used parking lot in that moment he told me, traded for a Genesis..and they were bought new...

No - Dealer tags are due to my windshield an OEM replacement at my Acura dealership. I filed a claim and had to wait for the glass to come in. In order for everything to go through I have to keep tags / insurance on my car while its getting the work done. So they just slapped dealer tags on it till next Tuesday.
Thanks again guys. From what I've read should prove to well worth it.

This car is gorgeous. It should make car lookers wonder why they should bay 10-20k more to sit in a BMW/MB/Infinity. As if it would hurt their "status" to be caught driving a Hyundai. This should also open the eyes of those luxury automakers as to why they do charge that much more for their product even when their cars offer less luxuries standard than the Genesis or features the dont offer at all that can be had on the Genesis. It still makes my laugh how BMW/MB offer HID's as an option on some of their models when Acura/Infinity's full car line has the standard.
Congrats on your new purchase. Dont be a stranger... Oh btw... Get those windows tinted soon. Will looks soo clean.

Beautiful!
Makes me excited about the future of this brand. I like how you get such a great value for your hard earned money (and not all of your hard earned money either).

She's getting strapped to the dyno later this week Video's will be posted
Thanks again. Couldn't agree more. I'm not a stranger.. just found myself on the 3G, then 4G side for a couple of years... I was lost... found V8 power and RWD. Mommy I'm commin home
There are your normal cat deletes, and custom cat backs.. normal SRI, etc - nobody has really pushed the envelope yet. After I get my test pipes my first step is to weld in bung and see just how efficient this motor is running. The Dyno should provide some feedback from AFR as well.
