Alright, my gf almost fainted LOLing at my horn last night.
I just placed an order of Hella Supertone Horn Kit. After discount, it was $45!
Can't wait to have my gf hear the new one right in her ear.

****UPDATED****
Just bought my new camera 40D, so... i did some shootings. It's all with the kit lens 18-55mm IS.
I put on CP-E SRI and Jbarone Short Shifter Plate so far. I do have my CP-E Rear Motor Mount 75 duro in front of me, but I haven't had any time to install it.
So far, I'm loving my car. It's still a baby, around 3k miles and about 5 months old.
I'm planning to install RSB, Test Pipe with resonator delete, and probably finish it with KW or H&R coilovers.
If any of you guys is looking to get some fantastic affordable pocket rocket. This car is it @ $23k.
I'm a super noob at taking pictures, so... please be nice...
Enjoy.

I honestly make take a look into purchasing this as my next car, something about it so likable I can't put my finger on it though. I would defintialy look into a bumper replace so that way the front end won't be smiling and I think that will round the car off perfectly. At 23k only I can trade in my RSX or just sell privately for at least $6,000.00 and boom that's a huge down payment, ahhh I'm really wanting this lmao.

The only thing I hate about having my car is that so many gay Civic ricers and other craptastic ricers keep on begging to street race me, which I don't do anymore.
When I had my mazdaspeed3 badge on the hatch, it wasn't that bad. But, now that I'm debadged, they think I'm just a regular 3 or something. I mean come on, even the Si doesn't have a chance.

They probably know its an MS3, they just think that since its debadged its got some work done to it.
I know Ive been looking for an MS3 to play with
I do like those pics you posted, I think you should black out the car as well, just without the stickers.

My choices were MS3, WRX, GTi, and Mini S.
I did a lot of research prior to the final purchase and test drove all of them a lot.
The WRX was fking super fast (it's like 4.5 second 0-60 ) but I have to say it had nothing in terms of interior. Also, its shifter just felt too vague and long, and its handling was somewhat hmm boring I should say? Oh yeah, I have to add that I don't really like 5MT.. There's just something about having 6MT.
The GTi that I wanted was like $6k more than MS3. And even though it can be easily tuned to perform like it should for the money, I just didn't want to get 200hp/200tq stock when I can get more than 250hp/250tq in other cars of my list.
Lastly, the Mini S is the most expensive one in the bunch with the lowest power numbers. I know it can be tuned to go super fast, but I'm not looking to spend more than let say $1.5k on mods total. But it did really handle like a go-kart due to its super lightweight.
As for my 2010 Mazdaspeed3, I just loved the handling characteristic of this car. It's super spontaneous, it feels very direct. I'm a type of person who really doesn't care about the straight line performance (it does packs enough juice though), IF the handling is very good. Not to mention, the fully-loaded MS3 is like $24k. It's cheap, fast, hatchback utility..
So, yeah it was best in this hot hatch class in my opinion.
I mean you just can't go wrong with either cars in my list. They all are fantastically exciting and affordable cars, so just pick whatever you like the most.

btw, just ordered Ultimate-Racing Test Pipe with no cat for $160 shipped. lol I'm going to install that and remove the resonator. and it's going to sound like.. this..
YouTube - 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 stock cbe with Ultimate Racing Test Pipe and resonator delete
This sound set up for less than $190.
I was originally going to order a set of CBE but the gain was just too minimal as our stock mazdaspeed3 exhausts are pretty good, so I just opted to go with TP & resonator delete. I mean it's going to give me at least 10 whp for cheap.

I hear you op, I paid 37k for my evo 10 but that was two years ago. Now those and the sti's with a couple thousand miles are in the 27k range. All in all I see you did your research, and make no mistake mazda is a great brand. That clip sounds mean as hell and when I had my TL an older body ms3 took my manhood in a race. Enjoy it man I have a vid of my evo vs the 1 gen ms3 if your interested.

I dunno man, I'm not liking that rasp with the test pipe when he lets off the gas. But it may sound different in just regular driving. Then again the only 4-cyl exhaust notes (aftermarket or otherwise) that I really like is a Subie with an unequal length header, the SW20 MR2, and the S2000.
Don't get me wrong, I like the exhaust note.... just not gushing over it, especially the off-throttle part

IMO, a STI with a few thousand miles on it for sale means one of three things:
1. They got so many moving violations they can't keep it (which means they beat the shit out of the car)
2. They can't afford to keep it (which means they might have beat the shit out of the car)
3. It's just too extreme for them (which means they probably aren't the type to redline it with 200 miles on it).
Not good odds (IMO) on getting a low mileage used one that hasn't been beat to shit.
Plus I like the MS3 more.

^ True.
Some members have installed 19's and it looks pretty damn good. 18's look rather small on 2nd gen MS3s.
BUT, I would never put 19's on my car. I just like lightweight affordable 18's like Enkei's or something with some good meaty rubbers.

Ran the MS3 at Raceway Park tonight. 13.5's pretty much all night long. Trap speed went up a little bit. It hit 106.27mph on one of the runs. Most were mid to high 105's. 60 foots went down to 2.1. Need a better tire.
1st run was against a friend with a supercharged K series Civic. His car wasn't running right, but was still fast. 2nd run was against a friend's STi. He bogged the launch. I took him out. 3rd run was against a WRX. Ate him alive.
Now running the SU "aggressive" rear motor mount. It's stiffer than the CP-E 60 duro, but still not super stiff. If somebody wants to buy this one, I'll go and get the full race, not recommended for street one. Maybe I need to look more into LCA bushings. You can hear the wheel hop in some of the videos.
A friend got some video on his camcorder too. Waiting for him to upload. I think he has one from the burnout box, filming the whole run.
Car # 4060.

Here are the rolling shots of my car.
Our fantastic photographer "jjassha" took these for me at the local bbq meet last saturday. The number 1 fantastic thing about jjassha is that he does this for free.
just kidding josh, you are awesome man.

I think you should keep the OEMs ... Every time I see a MS3 with them I just can't imagine how they could be any better except if they were forged RAYS ... Have you had your car dyno'd yet?
I've mentioned in before but I got 25hp and 32lb-ft of torque out of a CAI and CBE (did before and after at the same shop within a day or two of each other).

By the way, I just got my Ultimate Racing Testpipe 2 days ago. I'm going to get it installed on this saturday as well as delete my resonator!
While the car is on the lift, I'll probably install my CP-E Rear motor mount 75 duro.. it should help my car to put down the torque on the front wheels much much better and get rid of the bad wheel hop.

I haven't had chance to dyno my car yet. I've been really busy at work.. But, I'll be adding TP with my rear motor mount this saturday so.. hmm I should have gained roughly around 17-20whp/15tq from my SRI and 10whp/7-8tq from the UR TP.
I'm planning to dyno my car next month. My friend with 2010 WRX is finally ordering some good performance parts, so we are going to try to get some group discount.

Just bought a new lens, tokina 11-16mm.. so yeah
last saturday, i installed Ultimate Racing Test Pipe.. it's supposed to give me 10whp.. i don't know about that since i've never dynoed my car, but i can confidently say that my turbo spools way faster with his pipe. I love it.
