Jaguar XF
I'm not a Jag fan but i gotta admit i'm kind of excited about the all new Jag XF.
it looks really good.
It's probably in my opinion best mid-sized lux. sedan
RL: is kind of bland. but the features for the money is best bang for the buck.
5 series: doesn't look aggressive enough until you get up to M5 then your talking 80-90 grand
E class: looks good but the design is ageing
M45: blah
Lexus GS: I don't like it
sidenote: on the Jag XF , it's the replacement i think 08 the final year on the S type. it's a massive leap forward from the S type

I dont agree. I really did love the S-type and its interior. The new XF doesnt have the traditional Jaguar interior for my liking.
Yes im a huge dash stroker.
Plus I dont like the headlights at ALL.

I do love that car...I'm not lusty for it, but it's definitely hot. I agree with CS - the headlights are not really fitting. They look like Jag considered contouring the round lights to fit with the old designs, but decided not to with the lights closer to the middle.

I love the S type. But I have to say the XF looks awesome, I think the whole car looks beautiful, plus its gonna have sweet audio system with bowers and wilkins.

I love it compared to the old S-type. At least the exterior. The S-type was kinda an ugly car.
The interior is a little too futuristic for a jag IMO. (at least all the blue lights)
I was a pretty dissappointed though because the concept looked MUCH better (especially the headlights). But the production model is still a big step up.

Also, the 5series aero kit gives the car an M5ish look.

Time for a change, although I think the XF exterior got lost a bit in translation from concept to production car.

i have a feeling when Ford sold a lot of their stock in Jag to the new investor they "cleaned out" the old design dept.
Jag wasn't selling like hot cakes. they had a hard choice to make either go with the "old school design" traditional to Jags typical styling. or something so bold new that might piss piss off the old school Jag owners. I think they went for the new and bold looks.
