Best Motoring Rain Battle - RX7 vs. Supra vs. EvoVIII

Crazy-ass drivers.

Really old video, I downloaded it maybe 2 years ago .. Just thought I'd revisit today.

 

Damn! These are world class drivers. Seems like they don't give a hoot about shit like neutral balance and apex, and yet they're great pilots.

 

I thought that was sort of a counter-intuitive end result ...of course as it usually does, I figured the AWD would have the advantage in heavy wetness, then the FD since it's lighter than the Supra.

This reminded me of when I just got my Supra over 7yrs ago, at night after our two baby boys were asleep and if it was raining out, I would tell my wife I was going out to learn how to drive in the rain and I would cruise around the winding back roads with as much wheel slip as I dared without getting too dangerous. Wet track days are also "enlightening" as far as learning how to handle your car ...I've been at Watkins Glen and Pocono in rain and it's sort of fun if you don't mind having to slow down.
