Talking J-Series Invasion!

Hmmm... look familiar to anyone?

Any Honda-fanatic can guess the shell!

Weeeeee! The infamous J32A2!

Holy J-Series Invasion! ..rawr!

Mated to a 3G 6Speed Tranny.

Horray for anyone that guessed the shell was an EG!

Another shot of the EG!

Skunk2 Camber Kit + upgraded calipers+rotors. I believe the calipers are either off our TL's or a Legend. I forget..

Rollbar!

The mad scientists @ work.. RichieV6 and The Man Behind the Man????.

HAI Richie!

Yah, pics were just point-n-shoot. Thanks for looking..

Question to the builders..... are you going to cut the hood? we had to cut the middle of our hood to raise it for clearance on an EK...... nice build though. loving the flat black...

Nah.. its still being used as a lazy boy. You can see it flipped upside-down in one of the pics.. hehe

..hahaha Kris. I wouldn't be surprised if I see a thread later down the line with you doing this.

Yesh, they are planning on either just cutting a hole in the hood or molding a new one to fit the J series.

^ yea a mold would be sick....... we were thinking about using plexi glass but we really didnt need anymore motivation to get the car stolen....... In So Flo hatches go missing quick... straight style

i think a triangular shape cut & mold would look sick with the flat black.... we cut a few lines in the hood and then just popped them up from under the hood.....

We're going to be seeing more of this; the knowledge on that swap is getting more common and there's a million J-motors out there.

The challenge is actually finding the appropriate manual transmission to go with it, as I understand.

^ yessir. But Rajca (Tom) also brought up a good point when he saw the car the other day about axle issues with all the added HP+weight up front. I told the "mad scientists" about the issue and they'll be looking into beefing it up.

Quick update : Its cranking and starting+running. As soon as its drivable a couple miles, its gonna be dropped off @ a custom shop that specializes in custom coilover setups.

To that end, I'm surprised I've not seen more folks swapping out the J30A1/4AT from the 6G AV6 in favor of a J32A2/6MT.
