Hey there, My name is Adam and I am 24, currently working for Acura of Milford, CT. I am a sales consultant there and so far love my job. I own a 2002 Honda Civic EX Coupe which I know is not an RSX by any means, but I do love Honda/Acura and wanted to take a second to introduce myself.

I also posted a for sale on the black market part of these forums because I do come across parts every now and then that may be useful to some of you out there. So let me know and I will be sure to keep you all up to date on whats goin on in the dealership world as well such as the 06 TSX intro which we are actually getting five in today thank god finally! Also the new RDX.

But I am not here to sell anyone a car although that would be awesome!!! I simply want to become more involved as I am interested in upgrading to a TSX soon and want to find out more about these cars than what the SMs tell me.

I second that... but it's pretty much hopeless.

Welcome, nonetheless.

Hi Adam,

I visited your dealership back in the beginning of the summer on a Tuesday afternoon, when it appeared that I was the only customer in the dealership. My boyfriend and I were about to walk out after browsing around the showroom for 7 minutes until someone finally acknowledged us. (Who knows...could have been because I'm a younger woman) The point of my visit was to shop around for which dealership I'd like to purchase from. I told the salesman that came up to us that I had test drove and made the decision to buy a TL within the next year and I was looking into service departments for the most part to choose where I would buy the car from. I don't think he listened to what I said, b/c I was given a complete rundown of the car (after I told him I already had) and went for another test drive. After the experience at the dealership and constant phone calls from either the salesman or the receptionist, I doubt that I will be making my purchase in Milford. The reason for going to check out the dealership was because I know someone who seemed to have a positive experience, so I hope that my visit was an exception.

I'm not trying to be a dick or anything(honestly); but I think if you looked at your employee agreement with Acura of Milford - you could probably lose your job due to your moniker here and "representing" them with out there consent. Its a pretty typical agreement to reduce any potential litagation that could take place if you were to dispense horrible advice or make promises on the dealerships behalf with out their knowledge. Just a heads up, you may want to change your moniker if a mod. will help you out

I just mention this because it sounds like you enjoy what your doing, and have the best of intentions - I just don't want to see you get screwed by being a little over zealous.
