anyone know approx prices to ship a car overseas, say to and from japan?

i saw asked someguy with a skyline and he said 16k but i thought that was kinda steep

 

The actual shipping charge from Japan to the West Coast would probably be about 1K (depends on the size of the car - cu ft) but the paperwork cost depends on who does it. I shipped a Civic from Baltimore to Antwerp, Belgium for $700 including paperwork. It seems like shipping into the US is always more expensive than out because of all the extra hoops/paperwork.
