looking at the pics again... it looks like it was some kind of Nissan parade... it doesn't look street legal at all...(for any country, for that matter)

yea, JGTC(current Super GT) Skyline GT-R...which was suceeded by 350Z. So the pic is at least 3yrs old maybe? I'm guessing during Sepang Race. Anyway, cool pics! But the truth is, I like the GT-R that can be seen behind the truck(forgot the name)!..lol

I know where those pictures were taken. Definitely in Kuala Lumpur (capital city) and the first pic is near the bus station (downtown). I have seen R34s on the road over there. It's a pure import ... just grease an official with 'coffee money' (aka bribe) in their DMV dept and you're good. Because Malaysia is an OPEC country (ever heard of Petronas? F1 guys know that name...), there are people with crazy money. The guys who own the GTRs in the parade (behind the J-spec), those guys had to pay 100% import tax on the car. All imports are taxed 100% to protect their national car company, Proton.
If you check out a site, paultan.org, he's got a lot of post / ramblings of cars from the Singapore / Malaysia area. And to those who fear of travelling to Malaysia (due to it being listed in the US as 'harboring terrorist' countries), it's not a big deal if you stay on the west part of the country. The east side (which is another island, next door to Brunei) ... those are where are the fundamentalists live.

how the hell does a dude (or lady for that matter) afford a Skyline GTR in Malaysia when your concidered loaded if you have a bicycle.a modded GTR has to be worth like 10000 times more than a cheap ass bike.
