Import Alliance Spring 2012. Turner Field. Atlanta, Jawjah. I mean Georgia.
Weather held up. People came out.
Here is a teaser!..
So before I start uploading the rest of the pics, what types of things do you expect to see? When you think of "Import Alliance", what comes to mind?!

Well, first, I wouldn't expect a semi-donked-out Chevy Monte Carlo (given that it's not an IMPORT).
That being said, I'm guessing there will be a lot of Mugen stickers, too low cars, and huge rear wings.

Our journey begins from the location of the July 28-29 Summer Import Alliance. Charlotte, North Carolina. It will be held at the ZMAX Dragway. Concord PoeLeese are in trouble.
Your assumption about huge wings is correct!
Gentlemen, let's roll.
Ravin's TL-S. It will not be wdp for much longer.
143 moar photos to come. Flickr is lagging. Enjoy these for now.

Acurazine's very own CCColtsicehockey. Finally got him drunk and he passed out at 4am saturday morning in under a minute.
I heart Embassy Suites because of their breakfast. Eat all you can!!
Sitting shotty in the IS-F about to head to the Lexus meet 24 miles away.
Upon arrival, i find inspiration. Exactly what I wanted to see.
Expecting to see some big wings? You're correct!
And then, all of sudden, a surprise! My first personal glimpse of a LFA. Apparently this LFA in particular is the 3rd one produced, and the 1st to grace the soil of the United States. It also holds some type of speed record at Road Atlanta.
MOAR to come after some lunch and work obligations.

It's an old GT from over 10 years ago. Was originally light metallic blue, but i've spray painted it white and put some gold foil on it.
It's funny though, because the only person to talk some type of shit was this guy riding a road bike rolled by me yesterday before i was about to leave...he said.."why are you riding a little kiddie bike"? lol and kept going.

Wait, what are we looking at here?
Our chipotles in North Carolina don't get this treatment. Ate jimmy johns for lunch while we pondered whether or not to hit up the mainstream meet in Dallas.
Said fuck it and went to take advantage of the happy hour at the Embassy. Free alcohol from 5:30-7:30. You can make your hotel bill worth it.
Jumped out of the TL to get one shot of the cars with this beautiful building that was beside the hotel.
So those bring us up to the main event....Moar moar moar!..

This one is a little hazy due to some ricer smoke.
And then the sex machine shows up. My nipples literally got hard.

Pictures look great as always Eric. Was such a great event. Makes me excited to think how massive the Charlotte show is gonna be. They were expecting 3000-4000 people for Atlanta and ended up being over 7000.

Makes 800hp on E85.
I was in a sea of voltex wings all day and it's not helping my longtime dream of what one looks like on a TL.

Great pictures! Thanks for sharing. LF-A. Did you get to hear it rev or under load?
I also really like that Subaru's paintjob in post # 16. Looks like Ferrari's Grigio Medio.

Free Agent for 20" (when you could only by Frame and Fork Sets from them and before the brand was ruined by a subsequent purchase), and ELF for 24".
I was even on the 1987 ABA National Champion Bike Shop Team (S&K). Fun times...a LONG time ago now.

Handicap hardpark.
Looking at all these cars over the weekend has me in an intense mod bug. Plotting on some subtle changes. Time for some vision side mirrors me thinkz.
Rob and Jeremy trying to recover from the previous nights.
o rly?!
If it hurts your feelings, the owner also said he has another one on order. dark grey.
TL Love. Camera barely got this one as he drove away. Didn't even see it.

It was 7000+ in attendance and something like 5000 cars.
Ya, Charlotte is gonna be so awesome. That is why they shut it down. They only had a permit for 4000 people. Fire Marshall declared it a hazard and broke it up.
Thanks man! Good seeing you again. Yeah i'm really pumped for the Charlotte one now. To think there will be plates from Ontario and New York, Ohio, Moar florida tags. Gonna be insane. I really think it's mostly due to the massive use of facebook that's making these things so large. 7000?! wow.

Thanks for the post Eric! Canada (well mostly the prairies) can be very ... sadly we would never see this unless the Rockies eroded away and the pacific air rolled in - oh well maybe in a few hundred million years.

Good seeing you and your new acquisition. I like your style for sure. It would be amazing if you rebuilt the CL after you accumulate some funds over time and had both cars to display. Red CL beside a red NSX = epic win Sir. I am dissapoint that i was unable to get a good shot of your car. When i rode my bike over to it there were so many people around it that i couldn't get a good look. You coming to the charlotte one? I can't remember if you said you were or weren't.

Nah best case was Carlisle in three weeks but that ship has long sailed as well. I am now hoping for HIN Philly at the end of June. It will definitely be done for summer IA though which is the end of July and will be either the southern debut if things go well or east coast debut if things don't go so well.
