Why is it that everyone jumps up and down for Nissan sharing design cues from the G coupe with the Altima coupe which looks ....but if Honda does something like this their the worst ever and everyone's harping down their backs about they are going down....what gives?

 

Well they only share design cues and doesnt share the same platform.

Unlike Honda.

Over on the infiniti forum they are upset over the similarity, and not many people like the new design...

 

When the new G35C comes out there won't be much similarity anymore. Which is probably why Nissan went with this design.

I have always felt that a design is frozen in a moment in time. Anything that comes after that is a distinctly different entity.

 

But all I'm saying is that initially people talk about the ascetics of the vehicles and brand idenity, and in all fairness what your saying is that its ok to share design cues not platforms?

 

Because you cant please every one. There will always be some to complain
