If you HAD to buy an American car

If Asian and European cars vanished tomorrow what new American car would you buy as a daily driver? BTW SUVs and trucks count as well and lets keep it under 40K.

Ford Fusion is okay, although I wouldn't be thrilled about it. Wifey likes the Caddy SRX.

The price cut-off was just under the C-6 on purpose.

But I would much rather have a GT than a Z06, plus the Saleen is American and I think it might squeeze past a Z06 with a really good driver...

This is my list as well.

Ultimately the Dodge Challenger concept...but who knows when it will see production.

Also, Magnum SRT8

I couldda made it easier if I had said vehicle instead of car, but I enjoy lots of typing so that gave me an excuse for another phrase. Don't worry a lot of people missed the new part as well, at least that word was where one would expect it.

I have never been a fan of big diesel pickups (aside from my lust when I am towing my car to the track and the big diesels run past me like I am standing still dragging fully enclosed "garages on wheels) BUT the F250 Super Chief concept is mega-cool, as it sits I would dump my Cayenne for one in a heart beat!

Yeah, last time I made that statement the one literate member on this site decided to be one of the few to successfully own me...who also happens to be this thread's creator

PS: I wonder if said creator now gets why I made said comment...
