Porsche, no doubt. While I kinda dig the GT-R's edgy styling, (a lot of people don't) the Porsche looks way better. It's also more of a pure driver's car, even if the GT-R is potentially faster.

Oh, and those Fuchs wheels are gorgeous.

Porsche. The new Sport Classic is badass. Shame the US won't receive it.

911SC, don't care if it's slower.

Would rather get a GT3RS instead though lol.

I know it's not an option but, around 70-80k I'd go CLK63 Black

the entire appeal of the GTR comes from it's price/performance value

911 SC costs the equivalent of $120,000 more than the GTR and is a ripoff even by Porsche's standards

this is a pretty stupid comparison

While I agree with you regarding the GTR's performance value AND although the 911 Turbo is a more "appropriate" comparison, please dont refer to OPs comparison as being stupid. (Particularly when comparisons are commonly being made between the $85k GTR and $375k LF-A.)

Or when the thread's title clearly reads "If money wasn't an issue..." so we're throwing away the whole value quotient to begin with.

I guess he meant if you could afford either of them.

I've really grown to like the GTR but unfortunately, Nissan's draconian warranty rules would preclude me from ever buying one.

I think I'd go Audi S5 for $65k than the GTR for $80k.

I'd buy the one I like driving more, or the one that is more comfortable or has the better interior if the driving experience was not an issue.

I'm guessing nearly 100% of AZine members will pick the 911. I would as well....

Most likely the porsche.
Would have to drive 'em to decide.

However, for that price range. I'd probably go for a completely decked out M3, or F10 550.

I've spent time behind the wheel of a GTR and it's comparing apples and oranges. For a daily driver, my C2S is perfect

BTW, looked into ordering those Fuch's in 19s. Almost $7K for the ones with the TPMS.
