By no means is it a rocket ship but it makes the truck have more torque everywhere. Don't need to really push the truck to pass now.
The blower is REALLY loud though (has a noticeable whistle at idle too) as is the TRD exhaust I added too. Not entirely sold on the exhaust yet. I'm thinking the sound will change a bit after I put a few miles on it.
Toyota warranty. Cheaper than the Comptech blower I put on my Acura CL. ~60hp ~60tq.
Awesome.

approx what numbers should you be putting down now? 330ish?
edit just saw your post, i forget what theyre running stock? 240 or 260hp?
but yea, ive driven my dads Prerunner to the coast a few times when he needed my car, and while it has decent power, it seemed to run out of steam around 80 while passing.

The supercharger really is a great design. It's intercooled. It came with larger injectors. A huge heat exhcanger, etc. I can't believe with all the features it has it is cheaper than the blowers Comptech sells for the Acura TL/CL platform.
That supercharger kit comes with the blower, pulleys, belt, plugs, brackets, ECU voltage modifier, fuel pressure regulator, and fuel pump. That's really it. And it's a smaller blower. Cost: ~$4,600
The TRD supercharger comes with the blower, intercooler that's built into a new intake manifold, heat exhanger, heat exchanger pump, reservoir, belts, pulleys, brackets, ECU flash, fuel pump, larger injectors, etc. Cost: ~$3,900

Very nice Steve! As already mentioned, you're not wasting any time! I was a little jealous when you got the Taco, now I'm getting green with envy at all the mods you're able to do to it in a short time period. You've pretty much done everything I'd do to a Tacoma, and gotten it done quickly! Any mods left on the to do list?

Well... I haven't chosen new tires but according to FedEx my wheels were delivered today. For some strange reason the new lug nuts were sent signature required but the wheels weren't
Some parts of the suspension kit I put together are backordered. Likely won't be in for another 2 weeks.
As far as anything else planned.... I'm going to tint the front windows and I may replace the awful OEM speakers.
I think I've done enough

So I've been to the gas pump twice since the supercharger install. Prior to the supercharger I was averaging just under 19 mpg (like 18.92). The first tank was 16.7 but yesterday was 17.8. I'm still doing a fair amount of flooring it on a daily basis whereas I wasn't before the supercharger. I think when the novelty of it wears off and I'm back to driving normal I'll see only a very limited drop in fuel efficiency.

I like the style of wheel, but I think it would match the truck better if they were black.
