Looks really nice.

If it was mine it would get Weathertech digital fit floor liners, tint, tires and powder coated stock wheels. Then I'd call it a day.

I plan on looking at the floor liners tonight.

Truck didn't come with floor mats... I thought every car sold comes with floor mats!

Hmmm... powdercoated wheels. Had not thought of that. I really don't like the wheels actually; the wheels on the Off Road package are much nicer.

Maybe if they were black though...

I've been thinking it would look cleaner without the decals. I'm thinking they will come off easy.

I wasn't planning on it when I was purchasing but the sound system in this truck leaves a lot to be desired. I don't want to upgrade the head unit but I might be doing speakers. It's pretty weak from the factory.

Yea, the base speakers blow. That's was my dads first complaint.

Yours didn't have the JBL speakers? Not sure how they sound in the Tacoma, but the ones in my fiancees 06 Avalon sound pretty damn good.

No JBL speakers. I would have needed to add the Entune system in order to get them. That was about an extra $1,800. Wasn't worth it.

That's the TRD Sport "Upgrade" package. I believe if you get the Entune system you also have to get those wheels. I'm glad I don't have those wheels. First, they're chrome And second they aren't real chrome at all; that's a plastic "chrome-look" cover over an alloy wheel.

It's seriously plastic? That's lame. I like the design, but am not a fan of chrome either, real or otherwise. If it was in a silver or gunmetal finish they'd look pretty damn good.

Why are truck wheels so damn ugly? Fake beadlocks, black with silver accents,

I haven't found an aftermarket set yet that I like at all. Any suggestions? I'm thinking maybe I'll stick with Toyota OEM wheels but maybe ones from a Tundra/Sequoia or FJ Cruiser.

Tundra/Sequoia use a different bolt pattern. FJ Cruiser wheels will work. I've seen a few aftermarket truck wheels I like, but not many. What style/color are you going for?

I like several of the factory ones you posted, especially the last one of the FJ wheels. I know you said you weren't a big fan of this style, but I do kinda like these:

The kit is $3,900. Figure another $1,000 for install at a dealership so you retain your warranty.

Supposedly boosts horsepower to 304 and torque to 334 so a gain of about 70 on each scale.

You could always Plasti-dip your current wheels to see if you like the matte black look.

I like the new headunit display on these. Wish it would fit in my old 4runner. I think these rims look good.

The guy who works on my motorcycles has it installed on his Taco along with the FJ TRD wheels. He has a long list of mods and looks/sounds amazing - http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd...ml#post1509296

My vote is for the FJ TRD wheels. But aren't they 16" wheels? Here's a set on sale on ebay - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Genuine-TRD-...5143da&vxp=mtr

Though, those Pro Comp 7005 series wheels are good too. They're running a $75 mail in rebate on them if you purchase them before the end of the month.

I talked to the Discounttire guys about it and they aren't too impressed with Pro Comp wheels (since they outsource all of their manufacturing). Lots of guys run them on their Wranglers and have no issues with them. They have a lifetime structural warranty on the wheels.

That Land Cruiser

matte black wheels on your green color truck will look like ass, not enough contrast

Personally I like these ones and the ones on the Taco that Mteazy posted

That LC is beautiful. SC the Taco..

I really really really want my mom's '06 LX470 I love that truck it only has 41k on it. The only way I can get it is if my wife gets preggers she said. She doesn't need it, she has an '05 Trail Rated Liberty with only 43k on it. Don't ask me why a little Filipino lady in her 50s loves trucks

Because they want to feel like they're in an APC while getting groceries.

Somehow, ride height/mass is associated with safety/comfort that's why people buy Suburbans after they pop out just one kid.
