Yup, as soon as I pick it up I'm planning on having it oil sprayed for rust protection, then will bring it to my dads shop and put a few coats of wax to protect it for the winter.

I've already started shopping around for winter tires...

Do a lot of cars receive the oil spray to your knowledge?

I'm having it done by a seperate company, I'm not sure if you're familiar with Krown rust proofing. Of course once the deal was made they try and sell their own undercoating, I just politely declined and said I'd take care of it myself.

I hear Krown is one of the best when it comes to rustproofing. Where in T.O. is their shop located?

And at already looking for winter tires. Canada sucks.

Tell me about it It's already going down to 8 degrees over night

As for Krown, they've kept all our cars rust free, even our Grand Prix with 495,000 kilometers! They've got shops all over the GTA but I prefer the location in Bolton, real nice guys, family operated and let you walk into the shop and watch up-close what they're doing.

Good Lord, man... it's still summer! As I write this, it is 89.6 degrees (F) on my front porch in the shade and this is a relatively cool day and feels great. Nights drop into the 70's though tonight is suppose to go into the 60's (cool front). Eight degrees is nuts. But if you are talking Celsius, that would make it just over 46 degrees... still damn cold for August.

I've tried that mindset, but I just can't keep it.

Year round nice weather > cold, snowy weather. And you know it

As someone that has grown up in a region that has all four seasons, I have to say I wouldn't mind suffering in San Diego for a while to see how much better/worse that is.

Now that I see that interior pick there's something I can't figure out. When you build a GT on ford.ca the only time you can get those red leather seats is if you opt for the 'Premier Trim with color Accent' package. ($500) But the picture shows the entire center part of the seat grey, not just that stripe like in the pic above.

Any idea which it is? Is the entire seat cushion grey or just that small stripe?

If you go onto Ford.com and build an American Mustang, they have the option for "Brick red leather with Cashmere insert"

On the bright side, winter is the perfect time to practice some opposite lock manouvers after a fresh snow

I know it's a bit early, but to you plan to modify it at all?

My buddy has a 350Z that he drives year round, always looked like so much fun when I'd be driving behind him...

As for mods, there's not much I really want to do. Maybe a nice set of wheels for the summer, and use the pony wheels for winter tires, but that'll be late next summer if it happens. I may put on the MRT axle back exhaust I posted a couple pages back. That won't be any time soon though, I'll enjoy it bone stock for a while I think

I always wish I could use some throttle in tight corners around Toronto

And about modding: If you plan on only doing that to your car, don't join any Mustang forums haha

I noticed this as well, and based on SACHO's response, I guess we cant get seats like that up here. Lame.

If I ever decide to change the wheels on the car, I'm going for these RTR wheels...

Looks killer on Sterling Gray...

....... Speaking with the salesman every few days, anxiously awaiting a build confirmation... It's already been 4 1/2 weeks, hopefully it's only another 4 (as they predicted).

those wheels look good. Some of the factory wheels on the Mustang look pretty good too.

I think HIDs are a must have on a new car these days, but I don't know... the halogens on the 2010+ look pretty good
