That's a different blue altogether. That's Grabber blue; Yes, it's available on a V6 but IMO I think I like my colours a little less flashy, atleast for a daily driver. The 93 Cobra I posted is more of a metallic teal rather than a flat baby blue. Although, when I buy my Shelby ( ) it may just be Grabber Blue.

I think he said that the grabber blue color would get old after a while. Pretty sure it's available on the V6 also.
I like the color a lot myself but I can agree with him. Also grabber blue seems to look quite lighter than the blue Foxbody that he posted.

sorry, was on my phone. I tend to type up a post in the quick reply box, then get sidetracked, then come back and post it later

Apparently cars ordered now won't be built until the end of September, which means I probably wouldn't see it until the end of October...

I ordered an '88 Mustang LX 302CID in October, 1987 and took delivery 13 weeks, 3 days later on January 19, 1988. Stupid CAFE requirements were the reason.

The reason I would buy the v6 in the States is for the performance package availability..
-A 3.31 rear axle ratio for quicker off-the-line acceleration
-Mustang GT coupe front and rear stabilizer bars
-Mustang GT front struts and rear shocks/springs
-Shelby GT500 rear lower control arm
-Unique 19-inch wheels
-Pirelli performance tires for improved grip
-Mustang GT front and rear brake calipers with Performance Friction pads
-A strut tower brace for increased body rigidity
-Unique electronic stability control calibration with Sport mode for performance driving
-Unique badging

About the performance package, it's not really something I'm interested in. I don't plan on taking the car to the track, and even if I did I'm sure it would do fine as it is, the stock V6 suspension isn't nearly as soft as you probably think.

Not from the factory. It's a cheap add on afterwards if I do decide I want to do it, and I can get it through Ford Racing to keep my warranty in check.
I really like how the gearing is set now. It's quick enough off the line and cruises nice and low on the highway. I'd have to drive a V6 with 3.73's first to decide if I'd even want them.
Also, the package I'm getting has a LSD already.

The amount of orders that Ford is receiving is insane. A buddy just ordered an F-150 and wont see that for 8 weeks as well. I found that hard to believe seeing as most dealerships are packed with them.

Hmmm...if Canada is getting employee pricing, I wonder if the US isn't far behind (although sales here have remainded pretty robust).
Congrats OP on the choice of the 2011 Mustang V6...you'll love the 3.7L V6. I have it in my Mazda 6 and it has all the power you'll need for a DD.
Enjoy dude

Maybe they finally realized it's makes more sense to carry fewer days inventory, this reducing capital costs and limiting the need to blow out inventory at the end of a model cycle. Anyways you order this car or what? The way this is going will pop his cherry before you order.

S A CHO, so what are prices like? I realize you're getting employee pricing but are dealers willing to take anything else of? Not sure about the V6 but the difference between invoice and MSRP on the GT is about 3K. Are you getting anywhere near invoice plus employee pricing?

There's a black GT optioned exactly the way I want (save the hood scoop)at my local Ford dealer. Its been sitting there for about a month and a half. So tempting.
