to me it looked kind of like a jag due to the rear but it had a circular badge with black tape over the emblem. i didnt have a camera but i did have my macbook pro and its webcam! as soon as i put my computer on the dash the damn SUV took off!!

nope. the exhaust was molded onto the bottom of the bumper and was at the absolute lowest point. the X6M was definitely what i saw

 

When I was down there for the Performance driving school, they did tell me that I might see a "hotted" up version of the X6 that supposedly has a lot more curves and power than the 3.5 or 5.0 being tested by the factory. That might have been it...

You have the big three SCRAMBLING. they project bankrupcy in mid january. and now you have BMW taking overpriced, useless vehicles that are 80k and further developing it to sell for, what? 100k? the more and more i think about things like this, the less i think a bailout package for the big three is justified. its just buying time. america does not belong in the automotive industry. sorry for the misplaced rant.

 

^I think BMW intends to place the X6 "M" against the Porsche Cayenne Turbo which has been a hot seller despite the 98k base price.
