I would use it as a DD.

Just wait for your 944 to be done.

You won't be scratching your head when the Porsche has low miles and less abuse/damage when you do use it on those nice days.

Well, maybe not a "primer red/primer grey/rust" colored beater, but something respectable. Maybe an older small AWD wagon / SUV type. Basically anything with AWD that can take some abuse, and not be a $50K investment.

Or, something new that can take it like a Nissan Xterra. Just no carpeting. Rubber floor and some WeatherTech mats.
