Holy shit, the TL definetly has a nice one.
This thread just keeps on turning gheyer and gheyer with every page.
350z interior is cheap plastic galore and does not feel very solid. However, it's not needed in that car since it's a sports car, where as g35 is less of a sports car and more towards luxury, thus nice interior is needed.

how many times can i say that the exterior is fine, but i just don't like the interior? It's an opinion, but somehow some g35/350z owners feel threatened when people say ANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNYTHING about their cars that feel the need to start talking quality, how the cls sux blah blah blah......i think for those who don't like the interior the reason is simple.
Threads get stupid when people just don't accept that some people like certain looks and others don't.

In the bigger picture though, the g35/Z/CLS are all poor mans sports cars/coupes...now when/if we start playin with the big dogs comparing our 150k$ cars I might be more inclined to get upset if someone busts on my modena's interior.

shawn, can you back up your arguement in ANY WAY that the G35C isnt a superior car in any way that isnt purely your opinion???
i highly doubt it.
the G35C is the superior machine, inside, out, under the hood, all the way around.
your personal dislike of the interior does not make the G35 the inferior car. maybe in your mind, but not in reality. same thing with the fact that its RWD, in fact if anything, RWD only makes the G35 MORE superior. but the fact that you desire a FWD vehicle has nothing to do with the actual superiority or interiority of the 2 vehicles in question.
when looking at both vehicles from a technical standpoint, the G35 is clearly superior. there is nothing the CL-S does that isnt equal or better on the G35. and even if there is some tiny little feature or something youll come up with that the CL-S does that the G35 doesnt....there are so many things going for the G35 that the CL-S doesnt come close to on.

I bought the CLS for it's astounding bumper design.
I like both cars, I'd give the long distance comfort to the CLS, EVERYTHING else to the G. Make this thread stop.

seriously though,
#1 you cant hear vtec engagement without an intake so that point it totally moot.
#2 regardless of touchscreen, the infiniti navi has better features, birds eye view, and thousands of more POI.
#3 as far as all weather ability, put on some snow tires and different rims and it will be as good in the snow as any BMW
#4 noone....NOONE buys a coupe with the intention of using the backseat on a regular basis. back seats of ALL coupes are uncomfortable, cramped and awkward to get in and out of. you are right, the G35 has a worse back seat than the CL but again, buyers of coupes dont put alot of weight in there desision based on back seats.
#5 coupe buyers dont buy them for grocery getting abilities or how much shit from home depot they can cram in the there. trunk space may be superior on the CL but again, who cares, its a coupe, its not an SUV (although the ride height would suggest otherwise
) everything else you commented on was, again, personal opinion.
