I really want a Honda Fit

I can't wait until they get here next Spring.

I have no idea why I am excited, it just looks like a fun car. I think it will be great to commute in.

I am having trouble finding news about it other than guys talking on internet forums (heh).

Also, I wonder if they'll bring the Honda Dog package to the US?

I'm looking at one too, in the future.

I had a chance to ride one in Asia last December. It handled very well (even for RHD, which is a weird experience for me) And the mod potential ... haven't looked into it, but due to its success in Japan, I'm sure there are a lot of aftermarket parts available.

I hope Canada gets the ones built / assembled in Japan (not Brazil).

Thanks for the thread link. Don't cruise that forum so I didn't see it. Guess I'll need to start.

I ready hope we get the Japanese made ones as well. I also hope there is no initial frenzy when they are released, like with the Pilot. I'd feel silly on a waiting list for a $12K car.

From the side, it sort of looks like a Focus. But they're bringing them over because there's a new generation, so I bet it will look different. Myself, I'm looking at the next generation Acura EL as my next car.

I was never a believer in the EL ... Civic with leather is how I see them.

I'm more interested in the Fit ... wanna test drive a LHD Fit.

A performance Fit would be sweet. Apparently some tuners in Japan have put the K20 in there...

Maybe a new CRX based on the Fit will come out...

That's exactly what I want. I like the brand new Civic a lot. So I just want one with heated leather seats, heated mirrors, and Nav.

Hopefully the new design will be pretty good, the main problem with these type cars imo- like the scions is such small engines. Be nice if toyota put the corollas engine in an xb or honda put the 1.8l in the new fit etc to really add a performance aspect over just a cheap commuter.
