I rarely do this (Need opinion)

I rarely make posts where I really am stumped and don't know what to do. Usually I ask knowing what I want and stick with it whether people agree or not (usually wheels).

But, i'm debating this side lamp for my GTO, it's what the cars had down in AU since they didn't have the GTO side plate. What do you think? Part of me says it makes the car look dated, part of me thinks the GTO plate is even uglier. Part of me also realizes it makes the car look dated, but the car IS dated

so, here it is:

what's there now

What would really be unique would be to combine the two concepts and have the GTO plate light up.

in all honesty, I want the least amount of badge I can get......I painted the holden lion on the front black so you couldn't see it.....if I had my choice (my body shop screwed up) there would be no Pontiac arrow on the rear; I had already removed all the other rear badging.

I like the smooth badgeless look. But, if you can't do anything about the holes behind the badge then I'd pick the badge over the lamp, its the lesser of two evils.

Keep the badge IMO.

That light look like something from AutoZone...

...and reminds of a Mk4 Jetta.

Have you thought about painting the badge body color? Just a thought. If not silver badge over the light.

That just makes it more authentic monaro, not better looking, the name means nothing anyway.

Now that you mention the Monaro front I'm all for the sidemarkers. Its like an Integra with a JDM front.... best is no badge, but better to have the "H" than the "A" otherwise it looks funky

i usually hate badges but i am not sure about those lights. they look kinda cheap.

Keep the badge.

IMO you should get the whole VXR body kit and not worry about anything

what about tinting the light black? (or even a kandy thats close to your color). Personally I dont like it and would shave it.
