If your willing to travel out to Lancaster, this one looks real clean. Cleared corners and good looking rims too. It does say theres a hole in the A/C line (no big to fix) and the passenger window doesn't go down, but the owner claims new timing belt and water pump. $4k.

about the 98-02 tranny's, you guys all mean the auto's. the manual tranny's were the same being used in the 1gCL (f23 and corresponding 5spd tranny). I had a 1gCL 5speed and the tranny was golden. And there also must've been less than a handful of 5speed manual tranny issues posted about in the almost 4 yrs. ive been in that section of the site.

the Auto's were a preview of what was to come though with the 2gCL... horrific

True def sounds like a kid is selling it, but that can be a good thing or a bad thing. "Some" kids take better care of their car then many adults, but kids are also more prone to drive in a more spirited manner. Looks nice and clean though.

well bought this one. paid 5500. i know it wasnt the greatest deal, but considering the prices of these cars, it wasnt half bad.
94,000 miles, 3rd owner, timing belt/water pump at 81,000 miles. very clean inside. pw moonroof auto.
it does need tires, but "them 10's" 14" rims, so tires will be cheap. inspected until march. new windshield.
I would say it was taken care of pretty well.

there is a dent on the passenger front fender but not bad and there is a 3" x3" spot on the back bumper that is missing paint.

drives very well and should work very well for us
