I just drove an RSX Type S

One of the girls in the office has a boyfriend who works for an Acura dealer. He brought over a red RSX Type S. He let me take it for a little spin. I'll tell ya this, it's quick and agile. As hard as I tried (in our big parking lot) I could not rattle this car. I threw it into turns and accelerated hard inmto turns and it would not plow. I kinda like it. I'll post some pix later but I thought it was cool.

I test drove a black RSX -S with spoiler and body kit and it was not as fast as our cars and the torque is so low that I was not able to feel the power.. It was 4 months ago and those were the impressions that was stuck in my head. Also one other thing was it was fast after 5500 rpm and I liked it but one I did not want to keep it over 5500rpm and two, even though I liked the sound of the engine it was too loud for me for my hwy travel every day.

One other drawback is fully loaded it costs about $25K and I would pay a little bit more to get the CL-S

Overall I liked the car but IMO it is not worth the price..

Well actually you are right. To get the most out of it you gotta keep the revs up, kinda like the S2000. It comes on strong at 4800RPM and goes all the way to 7900RPM, below that kinda sluggish. This one only had 14 miles on it so I took it easy. What I did like was the handling. I don't know what the balance is but it is definitely better than the CL-S. You really don't notice that it's FWD. Sticker on this one was $23,600. No spoiler, no fogs. It has a hard plastic cover where the fog lights would go but you have to cut it out.
