I have fallen in love ....sigh....

So, I was getting my car detailed and had time to walk around town to kill a few hours.

I ended back at the Infiniti dealer...still no 6spd...but I caved and took the auto for a test drive....

I still would want a 6spd but I LOVE THIS CAR!!!!!!

Its so tight and solid feeling, interior is exterior is hot....new 19s are really hot looking to, but look like 18s.

There is a new color Athens Blue which looks like sex with a black interior.
I did drive to another dealer who has a 6pd that hadnt been PDIed yet....interior differences were ok.....still loved it.

I love the seats too, so supportive and bolstered.

Sad....I dont think I can afford this beauty...

sidenote: I did get my car totally detailed wash, clay, polish, wash, wax, interior shampoo, leather treatment etc.....looks amazing.

Any specific model you look at? Or was it one of the sales reps your 'test drove'?

of course it was the G35 coupe not the sedan haha

I saw one a few days ago it was black w/o the spoiler and had 19 inch gunmetal rims on there and gunmetal decals it is an unbelievably nice car for the money.

I like the coupe better without the wing, makes the rear come together nicer just my

I've seen the Athens Blue color, and it sure looks like magic on wheels. A truly sexy color.

Find a way to get the car if you can. If not, I'm sure you can find a decently priced used G35c

Just think of how much fun you'll have at AutoX!

I KNOW!!!

I was thinking used....but the new interior, the 18 extra horsies and the new blue.............its all too tempting.

We'll see what this new gig I'm starting lets me swing....sadly, i think i may have to just keep waiting.

I'm still amazed at the rear leg room.

Ah Yes. The G35 coupe. I was thinking maybe the new M35/45, but wasn't sure.

Indeed, what a beauteeeeful car. Nissan really hit a HR with that one...they really need to do something with the sedan, though.

btw, the WAS the option I was/am exploring...its still more a month then I can commit to.

with a lease and drive off, youre looking at 550-650/mos thats a lot of money.

Yeah, 40G's for a car is too much..........I spent like 32G's on my 6-speed and that's 580 a month for 5 years,........can't imagine 750 a month. The coupe is nice though, but no friggin way I'm paying that much, plus insurance, plus gas 2.00+ gallon........you better be ballin or living in the damn thing!

If you think that's a lot of money, then maybe you shouldn't be looking at new cars

IMO, that's a little above average, but not what I'd consider a lot of money. Most of the people I know who are either financing or leasing are paying in the 400-500 monthly range, and their cars range anywhere from 25 - 35K.

No, you are actually very correct about this statement.

I also dont make as much as a lot of people on this website. I am a freelancer and my income can vary greatly. And now, I am returning to a normal "career" job to replenish my savings. So, yeah it is a lot of money.

And regardless.....I'd say anything over 500/mos is a lot of money, unless youre doing quite well for yourself.

If you're really serious, contact Danny from Grubbs Infiniti in Dallas, TX. Danny frequents freshalloy.com under the screen name dfw_infiniti. I think this is one of the largest Infiniti dealers in the country.

http://www.grubbsinfiniti.com/

Hands down they have the best prices anywhere. They can deliver the car to you.

http://forums.freshalloy.com/ubbthre...b=5&o=&fpart=1

When I arrived at work this moring there were 4 transports full of new 2005 coupes being unloaded. As of this minute we have 131 coupes on the ground and more on the way. THE MORE WE SELL- THE MORE WE GET.

We have automatics and 6mt. We have loaded ones and we have a few stripped ones.

If you want a deal on a new coupe, and you can live with one we have or one we have coming, YOU CAN GET A DEAL!

Email me at dmayer@grubbs.com if we can assist.

As a matter of fact, I'll be posting my car for sale tonight as I plopped down my $500 for the '05 G35c today...

The car was much too nice to pass up. I would have gone to Grubbs but the guy here gave me a great deal that isn't worth hassling to get a car from Texas for a couple hundred less beans...

'05 G35c (auto) white/grey
performance package (19's, lsd, suspension)
luxury package (sunroof, 225watt stereo, homelink)
aero package (ground effects/spoiler)
xm satellite receiver
trunk mat/spare
$37k + tax, tag and title (less $500 deposit)
...
eta 3 weeks unless I want to put it off as needed...

Thanks Scrib I might see what they can do. I imagine they try and build delivery into the final cost.

Out here all the dealers lover treating the 6psd like a rarity.....they are, but I wonder if they hold back on their 6spd orders to jack up the prices.

Some dealers have markups on the 6pds when they get them....but you can deal on the autos cause they are everywhere.

Its a pain in the ass. we'll see what I can afford when the new paychecks start rolling in. I'm still id be stretching like mad. Plus, that dude can ddeliver....but I dont think he can take my trade

Thats the hardest part, still owe on the CL and its bitch to do a private sale on car without having the title.

I just got mine 3 days ago and turned 25 2 days ago, so my insurance went from $209 on my Acura to $116 on my G35 coupe (100k 300k coverage).

I got my 6mt fully loaded including Navi for $36,500 and that is the best I have ever seen, even better than grubbs...MSRP was $39,500.

The best part is my payments actually went down $10 a month, along with my insurance going down nearly $100/month, I'm really happy.
Pics are in my other thread, going up in 2 minutes.

you bought or leased for that price?

There is no way in hell, I'll ever find a deal like that in LA on a 6mt. dealers only get like 2-3 at a time and treat them like they are rare treasure. The autos can be dealt on like crazy. but i hate auto.

getting it loaded with navi makes it a damned 40g car, and my insurance will go up not down.

I leased it.

From what I've gathered on G35driver.com most people on the west are having problems getting good deals. 1 and a half weeks ago I called Lokey infiniti in Clearwater, Fl and asked if they had any black/black '05 6mt's coming in. He said his first shipment will be in next week and 2 are black, one with navi and aero package, the other without. All I had to do was sign up to a G35 club in florida for $25 and I automatically get the car for $500 over invoice, no dealer fee or PDI fee.
