$35k cash in hand, go buy a condo or a house man

Buy whatever it is you like, seems you know of a lot of vehicles. The only thing your going to get answered in this thread is what everyone else wants.

STI has ugly nose. i wish i could test drive evo, but dealers won't let me.

i'm gonna test drive 325i tomorrow. and i used to hate the look of 3 series, but it looks good now. especially the white one.

Those are all great cars, go drive them and see which one you like.

I would go with the 325, A4 or G35 coupe

325i, TL, or G35. I'm in the process of looking to buy before new years and I had to knock the IS350 off the list because the 3 dealers I talked to in Atlanta, *supposedly* you can only get the IS 2 ways right now: navi or non-navi....no sport packages or luxury packages are available yet (If you didn't order one).

I am waiting to see how Acura integrates this new I-pod feature before I buy anything.

Our original poster, aka the person we're helping find a new car, lives in Ann Arbor, not Southern California. Obviously this guy needs something he could drive year-round, or else he'll be stuck in a ditch somewhere on the interstate when the snow's coming down.

I like the WRX STi, G35X, or A4 3.2 in that price range. I don't like the IS250 in that price range, especially since I feel you could get more for your money there.

If I was wrong about my assumption and you DON'T care about snow, I'd buy a red Mustang GT and mod the living hell out of it. Procharger, Saleen body kit, flip-screen TV, 20-inch wheels, you get the picture.

What about the Subaru Legacy GT? Around $26K. Leaves you with tons of cash to personalize the car how you'd like. $5K in mods will turn that car into an absolute monster sleeper.

Since you're in Ann Arbor, I'm assuming you'd want to get something with at least FWD, unless you would have a winter beater along with this new car.

So, you would nix the 325i, mustang gt, g35coupe right?

Personally, I would probably go with the A4 since that comes with AWD and I'm starting to like the style of the A4s even the front end...

325i, G35 coupe or IS250 it would boil down to what I was feeling the exact day that I made the purchase. I like all of them a lot for different reasons.

I miss being able to fishtail on demand in a rwd car...

Oh woops my bad , but he also lists 2 300hp V8 RWD coupe in his considerations, so I dont think he cares much about snow.

The new civic is just that, new. Come spring or possibly as late as summer it will just be a civic. The idea that someone is looking at a $35k car and a civic is mentioned is funny. A civic is a great car.... for the money, but after you've driven a lot of cars you understand why civics are so inexpensive.

But boy it sure would be cool to see another civic with a bunch of bolt ons and rims

my next car will also be RWD or AWD, with modern snow tires and traction control/vehicle stablity systems its not as much of an issue as it used to be.

1. 325i-Will need to spend a little more than 35 to get some decent options, Unless leatherette is your thing.

2. is250-nice car, but the 250 is low on power

3. a4-nice but similar to the 325 when it comes to options

4. mustang gt-great choice, not a bad car, has good power and very mod friendly

5. evo-great car mechanically, but is very cheap inside the cabin.

6. 300c-awesome car, slighly played out, but awesome nontheless. I'd say wait until you're older on that one.
7. g35coupe-Tried and true

8. tl-great car, great power and handling.

9. what else..?GTO 400 horses, great hand;ing, LS2, Interior that competes with top dollar cars, and has more mod potential than any car in the list, except the evo.
