I feel the need...........the need........

FOR SPEED! Forgive the cheesy Top Gun quote, but it's representative of how I feel right now. I need to go fast. I need to feel tires chirp as I slam something into second gear. I need to see 60 disappear in five seconds. I've been driving my Mom's 4cyl Accord Sedan to commute to school (gas prices), and whenever I drive the F-150 I don't take it over 2.5k rpm, also due to gas prices. I have a fast car itch, and I can't go spend 30k on a 350Z to scratch it. What can I do?

Does anyone else ever feel like this? How do you guys solve it? And don't tell me to go play GT4

I'm under 21 and poor..........don't think it's going to happen. Plus, I think that would only make the need worsen

Get on my bicycle and go to a really tall and go down it

Seriously, when that happens I usually take the 3 hour drive to my parents house and drive my dads car for about 15 min. It usually goes away after that.

um i think your cheapest solution is forking over a couple $$ worth of gas to pay for the fun in the f150. thats the reason i will never drive my car gingerly, its worth it to me to have fun when i drive, though i guess if i have a real financial strain ill stop.

i dont know why you went with an F150 in florida, its a nice car just does't seem practical for the location

My dad needed a better truck to haul his different car projects, so it was kind of a necessary thing.

just hit the gas in your F-150.. Gas prices aren't that expensive... You would probably end up paying an extra $5 per week compared to gas prices last year.

I have never been w/ a salesman that didn't let me rip the car apart. They don't care bout the car, they care bout the sale, so they wanna get you excited.
