they were never known as "racing wheels"...... more about bling.

in fact, I wasn't even aware that any Viper teams use them. Most of the pro teams will use Fikse, Forgeline, Kinesis, or BBS...

HRE wheels have always been overpriced for the poor performance they give. I have never understood why people buy them outside of their looks. I for one would be scared to drive them on my car at high speeds.

yeah and they're heavy too. one of the main reasons people don't generally use them for racing.

hmm, weird. i always thought they were the cream of the crop. guess you learn something new everyday! i always liked the BBS LM more than most of HREs designs thgouh

whack man. I've been told I-Forged was bad, and HRE was always better. Guess not.

This is strictly for racing right? Doesn't mean HRE's are bad for road use right?
