How do YOU say "Acura"?

Many people at my school say it a few different ways.

I say "Ah-CUE-Ra". Sounding more like AK-U-RA with a light 'u' when said.

Some say "A-CURE-Ra" Sounding exactly like "A Cure AH" like someone shouting that a medical cure was found followed by a short cheer of "AH" of relief.

And some say "AK-Ra" Sounding like they left out the "U" in Acura all together.

And even "A-KER-Er" as if spelled "Acururrr".

I'm sure it depends on your accent, but how do you guys say it? Post how and where you're from! I'm from NC!

None of these bother me when said other than the "cure" one.

Agreed with Ken. And I think that those who say 'Ak-Ra' are probably the same folks who pronounce Hyundai as 'Hon-Day'.

If you knew where the name came from, you would understand why they spell it and say it the way they do. "Acura comes from the Latin word for "Accuracy". http://www.acura.com.cn/concept/index.html

I'm showing my age now but when Hyundai first hit the scene, there was a tv commercial explaining how to pronounce the name......and it rhymes with Sunday.
