How to change an alternator for a 99 Civic?

My litle brother is having car troubles and I think the car is in need of a new alternator, I am very handy when it comes with the car and Ive changed out my alt. on my Acura and it was smooth.

But mine is way different than his car and I am long distance and planning on going out there to help him out with his car, my question is how do I remove the alternator on a 1999 Civic EX 2 door and also what type of alternator should I buy and if you have pictures of how to do this that would be great as well.

Thanks in advance

Joe

if its in the same position as the integra's then you have to drop it from the bottom.. getting it loose isnt the hard part, its going to be removing it from the car.. cause theres no room.. the drive shaft had to come out on my friends teggy. if its not then disregard. oh yea on an integra its at the back of the engine below the brake master cylinder on the bottom just above the left drive axle.
