Horrible Customer Experience with V-LEDS

Horrible Customer Experience with V-LEDS

I decided to bring up this issue on acurazine since i have been part of this community for so long and i have received valuable help and advice. In appreciation i want to inform the best acura forum and its helpful users about a recent rough encounter with a company which seems popular here. here it goes:

i decided to convert all my cars including sister's corolla turn signals, brake lights, backup lights, interior lights to leds. heard lot of good things about v-leds switchbacks, so decided to give them a try. I decided to first order a set for the corolla first, so thatif it all turns out well ill get more for my own vehicles. On the side i also ordered the appropriate bulbs for the rest of lights off ebay. Two weeks ago, on august 21st, i placed the order. The order contained the following items:

- V-LEDS amber 54 LED
- type 2 dual color changing hid 5k white amber switch back
-3 ohm 50w 4 bulb led load equalizers.

The order number is 400000096 in case anyone from V-LEDS wants to confirm whether i'm BSing or not. Shipping was with priority international USPS $20. So my order total amounted to $113.96. I told my sister about this 2 weeks ago of course and i really wanted to get this done before she goes back to school next week. I was disappointed every night after checking the mail. I decided that if i do not receive my order by this friday, considering that i usually get priority mails within 1-2 weeks from the US, i would contact V-LEDS. To my surprise i received an email from them today informing me that my items were shipped on sept.6! Again i ordered this on August 21st and they were shipped over 14 days after! This was really a slap in the face, as it seemed clear now i wont be able to change the lights on my sister's vehicle in time. I'm not blaming V-LEDS for this, i had all summer, i could have ordered them a month earlier. Yet there was no warning about late shipping, none of the items were out of stock when i purchased. I have already received all of the other bulbs which i ordered form china on ebay with regular mail shipping! So i decided to contact VLEDS and question the shipping's late timing, this is the reply:

Sorry for the inconvenience, but the parts you ordered were very clearly marked “Backordered” when you purchased them.
I won't name the customer service agent yet...but that was the only communcation i have recieved from V-LEDS. That was within 5 minutes of my complaint email. The fact that the item might take another couple of weeks is not bothering me so much as the fact that they have rude customer service with no value for their customers satisfaction. To me it seems like they only 100% care about my money. Why do i find them rude and unhelpful? Because V-LEDS did NOT respond further when i sent them the following reply
Thanks for the prompt reply. Which item was a backorder? I did not see this on the item.
To me it seems like they are ignoring me. One part of me hopes they might be investigating and actually trying to figure out which item was backrodered but i have this feeling that they are either ignoring or trying to come up with major BS. Whatever, can't speculate anything. I know i haven't given them enough time, i'm hoping i will receive a reply by tomorrow. After all i did spend over 100 bucks on a couple bulbs and i think i do have the right to express my dissatisfaction and to receive a properly reasonable response. Just wanted to share my experience with V-LEDS, thanks for your attention.

ps. title should be poor customer service at V-LEDS

Damn, sorry to hear. I've used VLEDS multiple times and never had any problems

Have you tried giving them a call? I honestly do not find their initial response rude at all, it might be short and to the point but I don't believe rude.
