The TLX was right for you OP. That's all that matters.
I would go a different direction if I was looking now, but I bought my TSX a few years back because I wanted it to last.

In Canada, there is less than 10% difference between an Accord Touring V6 and TLX V6. The lease rates are within $5 / month.
In the USA, an Accord V6 with no NAVI leases for MORE than a TLX V6 AWD ($592 vs $567), unless there are promotions which changes everything.

They don't seem to listen to their customers and had lost their way long ago. Once the tsx is gone, i hope to not have another honda product except for our lawnmower.
The fact that they are basically Hondas is why I haven't owned one in 10+ years.
The argument can be made that all luxury brands share parts/platforms with their "regular" siblings... and that's true... but in most cases there is a difference. With Honda/Acura, that line feels extremely blurred and has kept me away for a long time.

HP and weight wise yes.....NSX is down 100hp and up about 600lbs on the 488.
Of course ferrrari has the F1-inspired trans 7-speed vs the SH-AWD 9speed DCT in the NSX.
Price and exotic brand wise...ferrari/lambo of course wins due to their long history/pedigree.
Reliability and driveability daily likely goes to NSX as that has been the motto...the everyday supercar.
Reviews does show some numb steering from the NSX which seems to be a big gripe.
Now we'll need to see how the two compare in terms of track/lap times....

Mine is so quiet, I've replaced the Honda emblems with Acura emblems so everyone can understand how luxurious it is. It's that kind of thrilling generator!

Honda (not Acura) is finding its way again.
The new 2016 Civic Touring impressed the shit out of me at the auto show.

It maybe quality issues that they want to resolve before pushing them out the door...cause that is something I suspect they will want to keep....a truly reliable super sportscar that is more daily friendly than the others....

Yup.
I feel like the big economic downturn in 08/09 was a big hinderance. Didn't the NSX project had to restart from scratch pretty much like at least once or twice? So depending on how much time they had....5-6 years to develop produce test engineer and put on the road now a brand new NSX that can still be competitive driving wise and price wise.....still impressive if that is the case...

I dunno, even if all the boxes are checked - if I can't stand to look at a car, there is no way I could buy it kinda like the 4GTL e.g.

Anybody see the road and track review that talks about the horrendous rear view camera on new nsx?

This one is pretty striking, especially from the rear.

But I agree with you on the rear....that rear end is not bad at all!!
A bit too much cues from the Accord front end imo. I did like their prior styling for the accord front ends prior to the mid gen style refresh

Don't be so quick to write off Honda completely. They make a fine gas powered generator too, if you're ever in the market. Perhaps the quietest one I've ever heard.

Back in the early 90s, Acura was clearly the brand to buy with the NSX, longitudinal Legend, Vigor, first gen TL. All with manual transmission. Everyone who grew up during that time(myself included)wanted an Acura. Now with everything based on the 8th gen Accord platform, Acura is no better than Buick or Lincoln. Even Volvo has now figured out you need a RWD-like car to improve sales. Acura has no fucking clue of how a luxury brand works in real world.
