haha, I had to calculate that too.
I guess it's possible though. I used to drive like 100 miles a day just for work, and no long road trips. but to average 200 miles 24/7 for 13 years does seem a tad high, but why would anyone lie about that.
I would really want to see that thing roll over to all zeros.

I read about this guy who owned an old saab and drove it 1,000,000 miles. He reported it to Saab, they took his car as a showcase piece, and gave him a new Saab. Maybe this guy can get Honda to trade him for a new car also.

My buddy was a courier for 10 years.
200,000 on a Geo Prism
496,000 on a Honda Civic VX
200,000 on a Honda Prelude Si
150,000 on a Subaru Outback
So yeah, it's possible. Plus there are people that work in DC that live in Delaware. Do that math.

I got 310,000 miles on my beater(94 accord). I just got back from western Kentucky last night i took it. if i would have taken the truck it gets like 17 mpg where my beater gets like 30-35). there's no way that dude will get 2500 out of almost a million mile civic. He's better off to run it until it blows up.
that's what i'm doing with my Accord. My parents bought it new in March of 94 so all 310,000 has been put on either by me or the family.

I don't see why this couldn't be possible.
A Toyota 4 Runner was sold on eBay with almost 1,000,000 miles not too long ago.
If you do a search, you'll see that there are quite a few mid-90's cars with close to a million miles on the odometer.

Wow . . . I'm surprised he wouldn't keep that to make it to the million miles milestone! If he's the original owner, I'm sure Honda would've done the same as Saab had done for that guy. It just reminds me of that episode of Married with Chilren where Al had tried to get a new car from Dodge when his was approaching the millionth mile until Peg had to mess it up.
