That's not a nose-heavy car.
I actually admire the fact that people are putting J-series in Civics, and they must be blazingly fast in a straight line, but I sure as hell wouldn't want to daily drive one and have to take turns in it. The back end must swing with zero effort.

I'm pretty sure it's because they have pretty bad ground clearance issues if it doesn't pop out of the hood. I don't think I've ever seen one that didn't cut or modify the hood somehow.
Looks like my wife's suitcase on vacation.
And how about that plow on the corners.
Should have just put another D16A9in the back like Durocco did. It would look cleaner and might even handle better.

it's a matter of patience and skill.. making things fit and work "properly" isn't the case with most swappers.

Reason the second two can close the hood is cause they are not near as slammed and thus could mount the engine mounts lower. The one pictured which is also the same one that has the charger mounted on it earlier in the thread is slammed so thus the engine mounts are mounted higher up. I think his hood cut out looks good though. It is clean and only cut where it is needed with no big extra gaps.
one of the links i posted is of this car... he's not tucking by any means.. but he has a drop that is well below stock and doesnt seem to have any major issues...

. I like it, but would never want anything to do with it.
Love the J-swap... hate the engine sticking out...
