That's why I fill up when the meter is half empty. The psychological impact is lessened...
Also try to fill up early in the morning or at night when the temperature is cooler. Gas is denser and you get more for your money.

Haha. :P

! My 70 litre G35 take is like a giant wallet sucking monster. When I see $1.50 for premium I cry a little on the inside. $100 fillup in a sedan. :/

Yeah, prices have gotten better... I don't think I've gone over $40 on a fill up in awhile, but I don't let my tank get that low...

About $2.74 a gallon for 93 where I am...

I'm glad I went to Michigan yesterday to get gas ... $2.399 per gallon ... when I came back to Windsor (ontario) today, it was C$0.889/L for regular (C$1.089/L for premium = US $3.75 / gallon)

I love living next to the border ... also got 5 quarts of Mobil 1 (5W20) and other goodies you can't find in Canada (very easily, at least).

Haven't filled the car up in a month and won't have to for probably another 4 weeks. Being at school in the fall with football = limited driving

However, to fill the Ta-whore up last month was $77.XX for 87

We're getting screwed here in CA. We don't even get 93 and our 91 is about 2.95 average.

That can't be true. That makes no sense.

I was just in NY. Filled up the rental car at the station in the middle of the Belt PKY. 87 was $2.76. 87 here in FL where I live is still at $2.90 in some spots, but mostly in the $2.60 range.

Ouch. How is that possible? I think you're getting ripped off. I know many people in the lower Westchester area and they're only paying around $3 per gallon for premium... like $2.89 or less for regular....

93 is like 3.01 or something like that in nyc. If you are being charged 3.55 you need to find another gas station. I filled up yesterday it cost me like $42.

By street encounter, do you mean drag racing, avoiding the wandering deaf kid, or the mafioso capacity for another cadaver in the trunk?

It was tough filling up over 3 bucks a gallon
