It's not a shot at your neighborhood, it's just the house in this picture has really odd proportions, everything else looks like a normal neighborhood.

that is an odd shaped house. i think it may be a little deeper than wide. I hope it's roomier inside than it looks. I didn't even think anyone was taking a shot at the hood. I know how people are here, it's cool. After reading what i wrote, it looks like i may have thought it.
Thanks for all the awesome comments.

I will be looking into a clear bra here soon. I have been hanging back much farther than i typically would when driving in my dd. I seem to be more cautious with my speed, But let me tell you, that 2nd and 3rd gear are fucking wicked

Like i do with all my vehicles, i will do most of the maintenance myself.

Congrats. I roll an 07 Cayman and my heart skips a beat when I walk up to it for a drive. It's not the fastest car out there but it handles like a dream and the exhaust and throttle response are great. Lastly, I can't deny that I love the looks and compliments that I get from the car. I think I will always own a Porsche. Enjoy my friend.

I like the yellow. I would be worried about taking the wing off. Leave it alone - it's not that bad. Enjoy your new car.

A guy I works with takes his to sun motor cars and does get rapped, but they do treat his well. He couldn't find anyone else that he trusted.

Nice ride, although the wing is killing me. I can't wait to have a "fun" car in the garage

there are a couple quirky things (designs) but after a while they grow on you.

Got a quote of $475 for clearbra to do 24" of the hood, fenders, full bumper and mirrors. I think i am going to have the headlights done also. I think i will do the cv boots myself. i can save about $5-600 on the job.

Are the headlight covers glass? If so, wouldn't an additional clear coating distort over time? Just wondering.

Have you tried to find out about clear vinyl instead of the 3M bra?

If you have any previous automotive experience doing this type of work and are good at thinking a little bit I highly recommend giving it a shot! I really liked working on P-cars when I was a tech, things were a little different, but across the board nothing was hard and it all made sense, and was fairly easy, but very unlike most other cars.

She's a 2002 boxster s 6 speed with psm, 18" sport rims and zenon (i think) headlights. Brakes and tires are new (thank god)
You should make a trip to the local dealer and see if they will print you a "Proforma" on the car. Due to Porsche's extensive options list they maintain a database of all cars and how they were built. All they need is the VIN and they can pull the info in a matter of seconds. The Proforma (that's what Porsche calls it) is a 2 page print out, page one will list what the MSRP of the car and what all the added options are and their cost. The second page is the same with the invoice pricing.

My memory on the specifics of options on 02 is foggy but in later years if you had xenon lights you also got headlight washers. That may just be after the redesign though, go say high to the local dealer and see what they will do for you. Porsche dealers are a different breed than most places, they may have events for owners to attend, rallies, poker runs and things like that. From my experience working in one it's part car dealership part clubhouse for owners. It's probably worth the trip

nice purchase and yellow is great on a porsche.

I know Im not at the age anyone really takes seriously but did you buy it for you to drive or your wife?

Boxster = Girl's Car

anyways it looks great either way, just better with a hot woman behind the wheel.

i think i may attempt it, and save myself a ton of money. I know using porsche parts, it will cost around 250-300. So i am searching out aftermarket parts.
