A friend of mine recently lost control of his 01 civic and has about 8k to spend on a new car. Hes interested in imports and has to be a manual tranny. I found these 2 cars locally on craigs list but dont know much about them as far as issues and reliability.

I did look at that one to, didnt know about the reliabilty of the scubbys

 

Stock WRX with blow off valve. Probably runs like crap.

Stick with a reliable car.

 

WRX with AWD will keep him out of trouble, plus im pretty sure they are reliable.

 

Just don't forget the Transmissions are made of glass.
