Help with Tire situation appreciated
I wanted to ask you about my car too. It has been shaking a lot the past week and I'm not sure the exact cause. I did hit a curb one day pulling into a tight parking spot but I'm not sure if that is the cause. I don't remember it starting right after that……I did think one of my tries was low on air so I went to fill them up at a gas station…didn't pay much attention (I know..dumb) to exactly how much I put in each one….and I think the shaking thing really started after that….I went back to a pump a day or so later and was careful to put exactly 32psi in each tire because that's what my manual said…although the actual tires in the front say (max 51psi) and the ones in the back say (44psi)……not sure if I should put in whats on the tires or whats in the manual…when driving and going real slow I can feel it jerk right a little after every rotation of the tire
I'm going to be getting my oil changed this weekend or so (soon) and the coupon I have says free tire rotation (its at a firestone store down the street)…not sure if they will check the pressure in all the tires and make sure they are right......or if they will check/adjust the alignment as part of the rotation
Someone said I might have bent my rim..but wouldn't that be noticable??
when the guys do the tire rotation for me..they should be able to tell right?
ANY THOUGHTS GUYS???

you might have bent it, did you look to see if it was bent? bring it to a tire shop and have them look at it. May need to be balanced again. It's also possible you need your lugs tightened/torqued, that would be the easy simple solution.

you may have damaged the rim, or the tire. Do you see a bulge in the tire? or any bends in the rim? You may have knocked a wheel weight off as well
