Help: Speeding ticket in Arizona, Class 3 misdemeanor.
Please help me with any suggetions or advices.......
Me and my grilfriend drove back from LA to Houston. On the way through Arizona, she was pulled over for doing 91MPH in a 75MPH zone. She was handed a class 3 misdemeanor ticket for speeding.
We live in Houston, there is no way for us to show up in courts over there. If she pays the fine, will it go on the record as a misdemeanor offense? Will it hurt her from getting a job in the future?
Please help me with any suggetions. Pheonix people: -- Any lawyers you can recommend without her showing up in person?? Please help me.
THANKS!

You can pay you traffic violation in the mail or over the telephone with a credit card. It will probably go on her record. It should not affect her from getting a [regular] job.
Almost all traffic violations are misdemeanors, in some/most states they are not criminal (i.e. you don't get a criminal record).

She would be better off forking over the coin for a trip to AZ. Although a misdemeanor doen't seem like a big deal, but for some employers it may show recklessness and irresponsibility. In the long run it would be best to put this one to rest by showing up and beggin the judge to reduce the offense. \

I would just pay it and be done with it. Thats what I did here in AZ I got a 80 in a 55 on the I-10 and only paid around 300 in fines. Sure it will show up on your record but employers don't care for minor speeding.... fucking everyone gets caught eventually so employers know that.
INSURANCE COMPANIES CARE!!!
If it's her first offense in az they have a driving school you can take in phoenix area that will keep it off your license. It costs around $200 so call them and set it up.
