How about dis!!! This is officially gonna be my task; I'm gonna find your dad the PERFECT car for him! BTW I'm still thinking Lexus/Infiniti. If I had money to waste I'll be all over an E39 540i, but European cars=high maintance; something pops doesn't need!

^ I like the Q....don't know why I didn't think about that... the GS and Bimmer's are out... old model. Also, as for the LS430....don't know if my dad would get a 2003. Also, the car MUST be FWD or AWD....NO RWD...AND MUST have navigation.

edit: the Q is RWD...no? So it's out (my dad's requirment's, not mine).

don't turn to the darkside!

but, it's a nice feeling to know that you put your parents in something nice, safe and reliable. Because you know they will drive that thing into the ground.

Werd.

RL if he wants to spend around 45k (otd)

I would pick the avalon over the ES also but he said no to toyota brand. So lexus is choice still and can save some cash on doing so!

I was looking for used 2005 RL's and there aren't that many out there, so on the RL front, he'd have to buy new (or look for awhile)...

In case you didn't know, all RL's come with Navigation (i.e. it is not an option but standard).

Has your dad come up with a list of finalists ??

^ not yet...he's kinda wishy washy right. He's either going to buy a car in the next month, or wait until spring..... he usually spends 1/2 of the year in the motherland... but holding off going because of a minor surgery.
