Help Me Decide Please!!!

Right now I am contemplating gettting a new car. I am on my 5th car already which is a 2006 NBP TSX. There are three cars I am trying to pick from.

First is a BMW 328i coupe. MSRP:$38,940
Exterior:White/Interior:Black

Pros: Its a BMW, free maintenance cost while under warranty.
Cons: Only 230hp.

Second is a Acura TL Type-S. MSRP:$38,940
Two color options
Exterior:White/Interior:Black/Silver

Exterior:Silver/Interior:Black/Silver

Pros: 286hp, Acura reliability, Navi
Cons: FWD, more options.

Third is a NISMO 350Z. MSRP:$38,695
Only color option
Exterior:Black/Interior:Black/Red

Pros: 300+hp, Looks.
Cons: Cloth seats.

My other option would be to wait for three more years until I turn 25 and my insurance cost will be lower and there might be something better out there. Give me your opinions on what you would do.

I'd personally wait. The next gen TL will be out by then and it may have SH-AWD too.

Who knows what will be out in 3 years or so.

Wait 3 years unless you can afford to toss $5K down the toilet, in addition to car payments, every year. Based on your options, you can't afford the depreciation costs (otherwise the 335i and Cayman would be in the mix), so changing cars again so soon doesn't make financial sense.

Besides, don't consider a car seriously until you have driven it. I bet the NISMO Z will be a loud, less-than-comfy pain in the rear for day-to-day driving-- that front air dam will hang on most curb/driveway cut-outs and the suspension will probably bang on 50% of all potholes deeper than an inch.

I've heard from neumerous people that work at Acura, the TL is going to AWD...infact, I've heard that all Acura is going in the direction of AWD...

why do you want to replace the TSX already? are you purchasing the car yourself, or leasing, or parents paying for it?

personally I'd wait, but I'm not sure how much cheaper your insurance gets at 25.....and there will ALWAYS be something "newer and better" just around the corner, so if you can afford it, and are in love with these cars, I don't see a good reason not to buy now.

I love the 3-series coupe, but i'm not sure I can own one long term, but seeing as you are thinking of replacing your car that is like at the most 2 years old, I guess you don't hang on to your cars for too long? so the long term reliability factor of buying japanese might not be worth it for you. If you are going to wait, maybe just pick up a 1-series next year, or wait for SH-AWD w/ the acuras.

Throw the G35/G37 in there!

but from the choices above, i'd wait 3 years, the TSX is a sweet car!
