Jaguar E-Type....i believe they were the XK-E here in the states
looks like a 1st gen, so it basically is 61-69 I believe
edit: Second thought, think it's a 2nd gen.....Doesn't have glass covers over the lights

That there is a Jaguar E-Type fixed-head coupe (FHC) as noted above by CLpower.
It is a Series-1 car (1961-1968), given away by the above-bumper taillights as well as the lack of side marker lights.
That particular example is a 2+2 version seen with the longer wheelbase and longer drivers door, which also meant increased interior room. The 2+2 coupe debuted in '66, so this should be a '66-'68 vintage Jag. It of course is a 4.2L.
Great find, those are very rare birds to be seen just sitting there in a parking lot.
