^^ I talked to the witness but we didn't get much out of that person. We were hoping that we can get partial plate number. Good news is that we do have a description of the vehicle.. I do hope that cop can find this sucker...Also, My dad is also looking for this vehicle to show up.

Dude....friggin 10 minutes after it was over the police didnt give two shits about it outside of tossing a report your way for your insurance purposes. Even if they found him on the next street ten minutes after...they would tell you to take it to civil court and the dude would likely drive off laughing at you. You about have to have it on video before its going to be proof enough for them to arrest anybody there big fella....so cool your jets sport. Just because YOU saw it and you may have an eye witness (I might add....its fairly well known that eye witnesses testimony is usually not the most reliable for a polethora of reasons) unless you have a full plate # that you got at the time of the incident, ect you are pretty much screwed...and guess what...even that wont get the guy arrested. You cant prove WHO was driving at the time....criminal court is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, which is fairly easy to create in all honesty.

Trust me...I understand your frustration. Shit...I have had it happen too. And it wasnt even a drive off....they just blamed the mysterious nonexisting driver behind them - didnt even have a license to drive whatsoever....and still was able to drive from the scene of the accident after it was over. Figure that shit out. Ohio.....thats the way they roll there. (I was on a sales meeting out of state from Indy) So trust me when I tell you I totally understand your frustration with the situation.

But know...when you go questioning somebodies intelligence thats probably twice your age and wisdom....you are likely to get a "consider suicide" message in return. And no...I didnt read all that dribble throughout this whole thread....you didnt need to read too far into it to get the jist of what was happening and that you are likely a kid frustrated over the system and the way it works....err....doesnt work in some instances as you have experienced. We all get that wake up call at some point....and get the big picture.....shit here in the USA doesnt always work the way you pictured it working, ya know?


Its just a little rich to have somebody question somebody elses intelligence that posted publicly on an internet forum about, what likely, is going to be your only avenue of retribution against the other party in this case.....street justice. Bottom line is....even if you find said person, there isnt much that can be done about it period at this point. Its a civil matter at this point and you dont have enough proof from what it sounds like. But I honestly do wish you the best of luck at it...have been there and know the frustration.

I will move on at this point and leave the thread though....its greatly a pointless rant thread to begin with in all honesty. Which is why I figured a bit o fun may at least give it some worthiness.
