Thinks Jacksonville doesn't get much rain (yet gets over 40% more rain than Portland and Seattle)
Also bought a Traverse
...and I'm the fucktard

Oh the world we live in, when ventilated seats have now become a requirement in our lives. First world problems?

I’m a fucker now?
Pretty sure Florida has had cars for at least the last 70 years and people got by just fine without ventilated seats. Pretty sure plenty of people still don’t have ventilated seats and somehow they survive everyday. You do realize it takes a few minutes for those seats to cool your ass down, right? You’re ass is still going to be burning hot when you get in.
It’s you who came up with the impossible to meet wish list. So once again, quit being a baller on a budget and up your price point, or settle for something less. There’s no two ways about it.
In the mean time, I’ll write GM a letter to see if they’ll build you that one-off Traverse...

Don't diss ventilated seats on warmer states though they're pretty damn awesome. I'd make it a requirement for my next car too.

Right, and you’ve survived the first 25+ years of your life without them. Are they nice? Sure. Will you hate your life and come home and slit your wrists daily because you don’t have them? Likely not.
Seriously, if they’re that important, get the AWD version of the car that has them and be done with it. Spend a bit more and get the seats, or spend less and don’t.
Either way, sounds like he’s stretching himself too thin, or can’t get what he actually wants. Sooo... might as well wait
the traverse might be slowly dying, but it’s not dead yet and it likely won’t die soon either. Waiting another 4-6 months to get it all shouldn’t be an impossibility.

And used vehicle prices will drop just a little more over the next 4-6 months anyway (new model year starting in January). Win-win?

You basically have to drop the Japanese requirement or the no AWD requirement or the ventilated seats requirement.
The "no AWD" requirement is stupid. It's not that expensive of an option on a used vehicle

Used QX80 has cooling seats?

It's not even that expensive of an option on a new vehicle lol. Some makes even throw it in for free.

I think he was more concerned about the additional fuel usage with AWD vs FWD.
Whatever. Call yourself a baller, having features on your car that no one needs in your region

the new Acadia is completely different than the old. It's a CUV. Chevrolet does not have an equal.
