That video was sped up a bunch in editing. While creative it doesn't represent the actual speed of the car.

The video is 2:46 long. He sits on the line for 10 seconds and it's hard to tell where the finish line is, but it looks like he passes it about 4 or 5 seconds before the end of the clip.

 

That's wild. Still appears to be sped up if you watch his hands and helmet... But I'll have to go on what you just posted.

You're right, and that includes the car in the video. It says right in the caption on the screen that it's a Reynard F3000 car, not an F1 car. You're forgiven though since that's how the website titled it. But a big goes out to them.

 

i thought the first car, by the color scheme was the malboro Mclearen of the early 90's, but the second car i wasn't sure of. maybe i dind't look hard enough.
