Heating issue is 2002 acura el

Hello i have. 2002 accura el heat blows very little for like a few seconds then it stops, i did check my coolant and everything is good any advice on what to check or do next i have no car experience but i dont wanna take it to a mechanic so i want to fix the issue my self so any detailed advice would be appreciated. Car does blow air and cold just issue with hot air

So if I said check the thermostat, you have no car experience but don't want to take a 23 year old car to a mechanic-good luck. You've basically got a Honda Civic, maybe try a Honda forum.

I did help you in two places; check the thermostat or ask a Honda forum your question. Your EL wasn't sold in the States, it was a re-badged Honda Civic made for Canada-only Acura.

Well-known for head gasket failures in the EL. I had one and went through it. Solution is re-plane the head and new gasket.
