I got a quick question...

Does a car alternator play a big roll with these lights?

I have heard that if you get the wrong ones you could melt the wires, but mess up alternator?

Now not messing it up from 1 day to the other, but in the long run?

i don't think so because they actually draw less a wattage than the stock halogens. Melting wires is onlyif the bulb needs more wattage than the stock bulbs.

ya they are supposed to be more efficient by using less energy. i wonder who spreads crap like this. my favorite one is when people say leaving your car on for 10 minutes saves more gas than turning it off than back on after ten minutes....

There was this tech, which now I am starting to think that maybe just wanted money. Saying that the car's alternator went bad becuase HID and Radio System were too much for it.

Not necessarily. What will go bad if pushed too far is the battery. I don't know about the alternator, however.

. yeah, i have some friends that believe it, and pass it on to others, who themselves believe it. Now I wont turn the car off if its going to be another 3 minutes until I get going, but when I read 8:00 on the clock, then 8:15, and ask why they havent turned the engine off and get that response, it really annoys me!
