Ever see bent rods?

Some guy posted this on my350z. He went FI awhile ago and was getting some engine knock. Took apart the engine and low and behold, bent rods. I consider this guy extremely lucky that he caught this in time. He's probably upgrading to some forged rods. Stock VQ rods=SUCK.

Bent rods > hole in the block from broken rods

Thing must have been knocking like a diesel engine... One bent rod will make a racket, but several (if not all) of 'em will really sound messed up...

Being an F body owner, i've seen way way worse. I wonder what that block looks like. He had to have done some damage to the cylinder walls. he may need to resleave.

Damn. My uncle went out racing a while ago and the next day his car was all messed up. Turning out to be all but one of the rods were bent. The last one was broken.
