That is my all-time favorite M3 in that pic. What year is it and what's that color called? Looks sweet. Have a full pic of it by chance?

And its very hard your first time out. I remember doing it in my dads 87 325is which is even lowered with a more race style setup and it was hard to get through, now imagine with more power, more weight, and front wheel drive.
And if he does take you up on the offer, bring your camera and tape his mastery for us.

umm no, i told you already its fuking bothering me, both cars are great, if i do buy it he will come on saturday. I was just wondering if the 1995 m3 is a real difference in acceleration compared to the acura. When i drove the m3 it didnt feel that fast, maybe b/c it was 118 degrees, could that be a good reason?

Hahahah, well master driver pimpcls...One thing about bimmers and all other top made luxo cars is you'll never really feel the speed you are going. You'll 100mph and think youre only 60.

no thats not the reason, just thinking about the future, like is the car really reliable when i start driving to college etc. Also just looking at other choices in the future, like an S4, wrx, e46 m3, i mean if i wait 3 years i can afford an e46 m3 . Its just hard to make a choice when you like both cars, and owning one for over a year is just hard to let go, i learned how drive in the cl, just a hard decision

haha no the thing is i have money saved up that I'm not allowed to touch till im 18, and i have a job during the year, they're not openings during the summer, but coming october i am working 20 hrs a week. Also my parents are willing to give me about 3 -5 g's if i wait for another car

If I was 16 or 18, I'd get a nice Scion Tc or STR-4 if I really needed it and get the M3 when I am a lil older. That is a serious car to handle. Unscheduled Maintenace is not just an issue but being it's a high-performance car you'll need money for tires, oil, and scheduled maintenance.

Anyway, Lex makes a very good point. Bimmers are EXPENSIVE on the upkeep. Just to do regular services and wear and tear they are not cheap cars to own. I've owned older bimmers and I know, solid as hell, reliable, no majors problems, but regular maintance costs an arm and a leg.
Real advice, keep your CL-S. IMO its already too much for a 16 year old. I disagree with Lex for recommending the SRT-4. That is too much cars for a lot of people.
There should honestly be no reason for you to buy a new car til after college. But you sound spoiled so whatever, do what you want.

You havent factored in how much your parents would LOSE on the CLS if they sold it. So really, the M3 isnt cheaper.
You also assume you can sell the CLS easily. I really hope this is gonna be the end of your "i want my parents to get me a M3" thread.

The thing is crazy sellout even though i like the m3 better and its cheaper. Its a bit too old, and i think the practicality of me selling a 2001 acura for a 95 m3 is just stupid. I'm not happy with the decision, especially when my freinds just bought a 97 m3, and took me for a ride in it. I love the car, but for some reason there is something inside me saying no. I will regret not buying the car, especailly that one, it was my favorite color and we drove 246.8 miles each way to see it. My parents are also happy, with me keeping the acura. See the thing is if the m3 breaks down, automatically I'm the scapegoat, because i wanted to get it. Its hard to explain but.. all i know is that someday i will get that m3 and track it out.
