"considering the pole definetly went into the engine compartment.."
Not only that, the engine's vanished without a trace!

A whole wagonload of dumb comments so far. Let me help:
- by the 9th or 10th self-indulgent correction we already knew it was mid-engined. Now back to my own self-indulgent corrections
- where is everyone pulling the 'prototype' description from? This is a production car, not a prototype. Its still in production right now.
- there would still be skid marks if the ABS or ESP activated. They don't eliminate friction.
- it def. doesn't have a front axle, but the front suspension is farked
- its a space frame. Minor straightening can be done, 'hi-po' or not. Not on this one, though.
- parts would not have to be custom made. The suppliers produce a bunch of extra parts at the end of the run just for situations like this.
- brake is spelled 'b-r-a-k-e', not 'b-r-e-a-k'
- jumping off that bridge would be risking a twisted ankle, not death
- bodywork is aluminum, not fiberglass
- "The parts are fabricated when they build the car". Wrong.
- the suspension recall is completely unrelated to the availability of replacement parts. That was a few months delay (not 'over a year') to completely re-engineer, reproduce, and retrofit the entire run of parts onto the cars that had been built. They've made extra parts.
- on a golf course, one yells 'Fore!', not 'Four!'
Remember, I'm only here to help. You can thank me later.
