got a ticket

so i got a speeding ticket. 37 in a 20 (cop got me right where the sign is). i'm an out of state student and he put my address as my oregon address even though my D.L. is california. can that get me out of my ticket? the car is registered in oregon though. also he got my race and eye color wrong. Can any of this get me out of my ticket?? T.I.A.

oh c'mon. but i'm not white alright, well i guess it's up to fighting it. also, has anyone ever heard of a street having 2 different speeds on the same road? on one side the speed limit is 35, but on the other side it drops down to 20

^ - wouldn't he just copy race and eye color of the license?

You can try to tell the judge the posted limit was 35 and bring in a picture or something, otherwise you'll just have to pay the fine

Also, why the hell did you transfer everything to CA? Did you do that to get residency for tuition? Because it is a hell of a lot cheaper to keep your insurance and registration in Oregon.

yea he can. and i know that if there are discrepancies in the ticket that you can get it thrown out. just not sure if those would qualify.

You should be able to find a traffic attorney that will give you some free answers. Call around.
